Solomon’s wisdom and glory made Israel’s golden age—yet he fell into idolatry and his kingdom divided. Jesus declared Himself ‘greater than Solomon,’ possessing infinite wisdom, building an eternal temple of living stones, and offering glory that Solomon’s splendor could only shadow.

Jonah’s three days in the great fish became Jesus’ chosen sign for His generation—a picture of His own death, burial, and resurrection. The reluctant prophet who resented God’s mercy toward enemies prefigured the willing Savior who embraced death to offer mercy to all nations.
